A few of you picked this game. Just thought I'd let y'all know.

Too bad the hurricanes won't force 90% of the teams to cancel their games these next few weeks before conference season starts. They're all pretty much exhibition games anyways. Can't imagine many people were all that fired up for LSU-Troy anyways.

Yeah, some really meaningless, boring nonconference games coming up in the next few weeks:TheJON wrote:Too bad the hurricanes won't force 90% of the teams to cancel their games these next few weeks before conference season starts. They're all pretty much exhibition games anyways.

What part of the percentage 90% is so hard for you to understand? Is it the "90" part or the "%" part???RadioFan wrote:Yeah, some really meaningless, boring nonconference games coming up in the next few weeks:TheJON wrote:Too bad the hurricanes won't force 90% of the teams to cancel their games these next few weeks before conference season starts. RadioFan,
I didn't look at your list of games before that last response but now that I did I'm laughing hysterically....
Notre Dame-Michigan??? AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Wow, what a thriller!!
Fresno State-Wisconsin?? Yippee....a mid-major vs an overrated Big-10 team. Can't wait.
Epic list there. You're really making a case for September CFB being entertaining.......

I think most of those match ups are pretty good from a fans perspective which is why I only questioned Florida/Miami.TheJON wrote:RadioFan,

Michigan and Notre Dame is a good game and there is a case that can be made that this is one of the more meaningful match ups, as far as the future of the programs, in the series' history.
I am just looking forward to the Wisky/Fresno State match up in general. Pat Hill is always out spoken and he puts together some teams that surprise people.

perhaps from nd's perspective, but not michigan's. weis hit the ground running and crashed a couple years in, presumably with more than enough time to instill a change of culture and implement his philosophy. he's on thin ice. michigan, on the other hand, will be in game #3 of a transition that's going to be much more painful than anyone expected, so an ass whooping, though frustrating, will be understandable. well, not an ass whooping, but perhaps a loss.SunCoastSooner wrote: Michigan and Notre Dame is a good game and there is a case that can be made that this is one of the more meaningful match ups, as far as the future of the programs, in the series' history.

How is Notre Dame-Michigan a better matchup from a fan's perspective than Florida-Miami? I don't think it's even close if you're just a fan of football and not a fan of the teams.
Florida = good. Miami = program trying to get back to greatness. It's a test to see how close Miami is to getting back to where they want to be.
The winner of the ND-Michigan game doesn't prove anything because they both suck. It's a matchup of 2 crappy teams.
Now, Michigan-ND in 2010......that may be a damn good game. But this year it's just a cripple fight and cripple fight's aren't very entertaining. I think Michigan's D-line will dominate ND's O-line and force some turnovers and win the game because of it but it won't be pretty. From a fan's perspective, this game might be unwatchable.

Two teams that stand a decent shot at playing football on January 1. Tard.TheJON wrote:Fresno State-Wisconsin?? Yippee....a mid-major vs an overrated Big-10 team. Can't wait.

Wisconsin will play on Jan 1 because the Big-10 sucks. Fresno State won't play Jan 1. They're nothing special. That Brandstater kid that's been there for 20 years playing QB isn't any good. Never been impressed with him.
Are you seriously going to try and argue with me about Wisconsin being a fraud AGAIN? Didn't we have this discussion at this time last year and look at what a fool you made of yourself? You wanna do it again you fucking dipshit? 2 years in a row????? Seriously, Goober, how much of a beatdown can you take before you just walk away???
Your team was overhyped last year, they're overhyped this year. Seriously, let's not go through this again. I made you look like a fucking retard last year and quite frankly, I just don't feel like doing it again. I feel bad for you. I'm not about to pick on the fat kid that picks his boogers and wets his bed. I just can't bring myself to do that yet again.
