There's no such thing as a national championship in college football. No team has ever won one. Real football is played in the NFL. The game on the field is secondary to everything else in college. I used to enjoy the games more but then I discovered real football and now I see college as the minor leagues. It's a big fucking party and I enjoy that. Don't get me wrong, I still love seeing Iowa win but I don't get as caught up in the game part of it as I used to. There's no parity in college football, every decent program seems to cheat, and there's never been a true national champion just a paper champion. Not that way in the NFL. You've got a salary cap that makes the game fair for everyone, the champion is played out on the field, and it's a better brand of football. In college you've got these fucking spread offenses that are just ruining football. That shit ain't skill. I got so excited when the option offense was basically eliminated but now you've got an even more garbage offense. I like a good pro-style offense with physical football being played on both lines. Not some sissy poo crap they run now.Not trying to sound condescending at all, but great moments that mean national titles, or conference championships, etc. are unique to a limited number of teams.
And by the way, you're a douchebag if you post this kind of thread about how awesome it is to root for an elite program. Always loved dickheads that think they're so superior to others because they root for a super duper awesome sports team. Like you had any part in that success.....
