I agree, couldn't have happened to a bigger nancy.Papa Willie wrote:Poor Goobs. This is going to make him even MORE senile!
I don't agree. This is classic Monday Morning QB analysis. The Lions were only up 3 points in the 4th quarter. There was much more pressure and urgency for them to score. The Pack, on the other hand, did settle for FGs, but the bottom line is they took a 16 point lead into the half against Seattle on the road. You'll take that all day if you're Green Bay, just as any other team would. Nobody thought they would be in that position. They even came out in the second half and promptly forced a three and out. They were sitting pretty.Shoalzie wrote:The Pack needed to bank more than 16 points in the first half. Reminds me of the Lions...didn't do enough to put the game out of reach.
Patriots will stomp Seattle 35-10. They'll build a nice lead by halftime and won't let up like GB did. No love lost for NE, but they know how to finish.Goober McTuber wrote:I called Seattle over New England in the Super Bowl weeks ago. Still looks good to me.
I think this is a natural reaction to how Seattle played yesterday, but I believe they'll be up for NE and play better in the Super Bowl. They've whacked GB for years now, and I think overlooked the Packers somewhat, although I doubt they'd admit it. NE will likely look closely at yesterday's game and try to confuse and pressure Wilson similarly. I'm not sure he can ad-lib enough plays for a victory, especially if NE can run the ball. Seattle has to shut down the run and pressure Brady. Whoever is able to run the ball will have a distinct advantage.War Wagon wrote:Patriots will stomp Seattle 35-10. I'll give you SEA and whatever the morning line is as of today.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:I'll take that bet. You wanna give me SEA and 25 points?

Come on now, that would be a Raiduhs/Eagles Super Bowl.Goober McTuber wrote:Now we're treated to a Super Bowl featuring .......two of the shittiest fanbases in pro sports. Yay.
I said "two of the shittiest". There's still room on the podium.Joe in PB wrote:Come on now, that would be a Raiduhs/Eagles Super Bowl.Goober McTuber wrote:Now we're treated to a Super Bowl featuring .......two of the shittiest fanbases in pro sports. Yay.

Yeah, that's what I thought.War Wagon wrote:I'll give you SEA and whatever the morning line is as of today.
I don't play fantasy football and I'm not betting 50 bucks on the outcome of a game I don't really care about. How about 20 bucks to the winner's charity of choice. Straight pick'em, no spread. I'll take SEA and you've got NE. Deal?$50 seems about right. You might win a free entry into JFFL 2015. That's an open invite because we always need new blood. How we haven't drawn your number yet is ponderous.
No they don't. They haven't closed one out in ten years. They have been choking in the postseason since 2005.War Wagon wrote: No love lost for NE, but they know how to finish.
Seattle won't even have to watch film of the Patriots run plays. Last year in the SB there was at least a threat of it with Moreno, but the Patriots suck at running the football unless they are playing the Colts. Gray and Blount are castoffs who suck unless they are playing the Colts. So Seattle can spend time just worrying about the passing game and they will spend all of their time figuring out how to tighten up that soft spot of the field that was open for Rodgers to Rodgers (he should have thrown to the TE more). It's going to be an easy win for Seattle.I'm not sure he can ad-lib enough plays for a victory, especially if NE can run the ball. Seattle has to shut down the run and pressure Brady
Yeah, that's a good one coming from Dallas Cowpuke fan, who have been gagging and hacking ever since the days of Johnson coaching the Terrible Triplets.Yer a Fuckin Jerkoff wrote:No they don't.
