Wow, 0-2 Mich could have the subs in during the second-half.

Willingham has a better team than Weise while starting a true-frosh at qb.

Nice going Charlie, 10-year contract huh? Sweet.

How badly would App St. fuck up Notre Dame!

I've never seen a more inept team than this. Is there any div 1-AA team that Notre Dame could even beat?

ndnation.com, when its sackless pussies of moderators actually start it back up again, will be flooded with douchbags explaining how this is all still ty's fault and making excuses for weis' 10-year deal.

you haven't seen "circle-the-wagons spinning" done so well like ndnation.com does. at least scU-M fans (for the most part) agree that their coach blows. irish fan still believes weis' fat fucking ass descended from the fucking virgin mary herself.

i think i'll have to make a trip to the linebacker tonight to celebrate. haven't been there since school started.

The fact DomerNation would be Weis apologists is pretty funny when you consider he was the third or fourth option as their coach in the first place. He pretty much ended up the coach because he was the only that wanted the job and he didn't lie about his past ('sup George O'Leary). Urban Meyer thumbed his nose at them and went down to Gainesville and won a national title within two years on the job. Weis should be given as short of a leash as Ty just so ND doesn't feed into the conspiracy theory that the Willingham early dismissal was based on race.

By no means do I brag about Michigan winning today...this was a one-armed man beating an armless man in a fist fight. For the Irish to have no offensive TDs after three games and to have less than 400 total yards in that stretch is a direct shot at Weis...the supposed offensive genius. Starting to make you think about that "videogate" scandal a little more...you think Weis' credentials were exaggerated because the Pats knew what the other team was doing?

Early pick for next week: Michigan State 35, Notre Dame 3

WOW.......is all I can say....just wow......

Shoalzie: I posted the same thing earlier.....Weis rode Brady to the ND job. I have NEVER seen a top flight program look so inept since FSU-Miami in 1998(or so) when they were on probation. Just overmatched/outcoached. Terrible everything.

ndfan: That's embarrassing. Carr called off the dawgs....Lloyd Carr called off the dogs....HE of all people......that has to tell u something.....

I would like to hear from NDfan(in a non-smack way)....really....I feel sorry for you at this point.....

It's becoming more clear Weis has no business coaching Notre Dame. I think he's got the ability to be a great college coach someday, but he should've started at a lower rung and worked his way up. I think there's a chance that'll be happening.

Yeah, yeah, "rebuilding."

Part of what makes a great coach is working with the players that he does have, and at least not producing a grid iron laughing stock.

Now the question looms: when will ND win a game?

Here's the rest of the schedule

9/22 Michigan St
9/29 @ Purdue
10/6 @ UCLA
10/13 Boston College
10/20 USC
11/3 Navy
11/10 Air Force
11/17 Duke
11/24 @ Stanford

Wow. On paper it looks as if ND might not win until the freaking Navy game. Even then, that's no guarantee.

This is his(weis) THIRD year.....Tebow and Harvin were the stars on the field today @ UF.....they are TRUE SOPHs. Weis should have SOME recruits in place. You CANNOT blame anything on TY at this point.

Again, what is he doing.

don't you read the papers, motherfucker? charlie said the day he utters the word "rebuilding," will be the day he is no longer head coach at ND, because ND doesn't rebuild. :meds: x1000

he'd rather be 0-12 than admit he's "rebuilding." while he's at it, he should probably admit that he needs to stop trying to outscheme opposing teams with his junior high quality talent on the field.

but i have to give mt. rumplewife's long lost twin brother some credit: it's been refreshing to hear the fat ass talk to the media with out the condesending arrogance of the past two seasons when the irish were, you know, playing in bcs games they didn't deserve to be in. i never thought humility was in any hunk of flesh in weis' over-glandular body until this season.

and he still won't let freshmen or his qb's talk to the media. eat a dick, you fat fuck.

They are a wreck now and it's his fault. Happy.
There are very few contributing seniors on this team. The kids that are juniors were part of his first recruiting class that was not really his. Granted it's his responsibility to coach these kids up and get them to a level where they can compete. It's not happening now and he will take the blame for it. I see a lot of underclassmen at several schools who are doing a great job. Why not at ND. I'm not an Nd apologist but things right now are looking very bleak. Maybe 4 wins this year......

I like ND 364 days of the year.

Weis should have acknowledged that this would be a rebuilding year. Instead he's gone out and affirmatively stated that it isn't. I happen to buy into the stuff about Ty leaving nothing there - but ND's sloppy play is clearly on Weis' shoulders. It hurt to watch them yesterday.

ND will be back, but it's going to hurt. This could be a three-win season. Fuck me running.

Oh Rixie, allow me to pimp slap you around a bit here......
Seniors on ND's roster include.
Joe Brockington
John Carlson
Trevor Laws
Geoffrey Price....a punter.
Dwight Stevenson
John Sullivan
Travis Thomas
Ambose Wooden
Tom Zibikowski

Now from that list I don't see many guys that are contributing. Zibby and Wooden get burned more that toast left in the toaster. Carlson doesn't get the ball thrown to him because the O-line can't protect anyone. So please with your incredible amount of expertise show me ANY contributing seniors on this roster that are helping.

The fact is that Weis has two recruiting classes on the team right now. His first was basically Tys last because Weis was still with the Pats. Even someone like you can figure that out. Now does he have to accept responsibility for their performance? Hell yes, but as you know from your vast coaching experience that one coach doesn't coach all the players. A lot of head coaches have their system and they implement it and let the coaches coach. They oversee the coaches. Weis doesn't coach the O-line, Weis doesn't coach the defense. I think you may actually be able to understand that, but I'm not really sure.
Most realistic ND fans know this is a process that is going to take another year or two. His class that have verballed this year is as impressive as most. I've seen a few of those kids play in person and they will come in and help. Can all this be blamed on TY? No and only the unrealistic ND fans are doing that, however there is a hangover affect from his lack of recruiting. Look at the seniors? How many contributing seniors does Florida, LSU, etc....have? Probably a few more than ND......and I'm the moron, and yes I know they suck.

Rationalize it all you want domehead......you got a raw deal....no....you gave yourselves a raw deal....

Did I say it was Ty's fault? No dip shit. I'm just looking for reasons why this team isn't performing. Granted I don't have the access to the program that you do so I just try and use logic. The reality is this: CW has two recruiting classes on this team that he is solely responsible for. Ty didn't stockpile talent like some other teams have. Zook did it at Fla and Meyer came into a very different situation than Weis. Many ND fans are defending him because he's a good football coach. It's funny that the worst coaches seem to have mediocre talent and the best coaches have the best talent. Nobody said that ND was going to win the national championship this year, in fact most logically thinking ND fans knew this was going to be a tough year. Weis probably refused to use the rebuilding term so his kids would have a different attitude coming into the year. If the head coach comes out and states that they're rebuilding then why should kids put forth effort?
My day has been wonderful.....woke about 8:00, changed the brake pads on my wifes car, got laid, now watching some football. Of course this is a rebuilding year but ND flat-out SUCKS. No TD's by the O? Hell Buffalo has a better O, how can you spin that? A 1AA-program drilled Mich's D but ND can't score? Weis hasn't put-out a solid D yet. Ya this season should be a struggle but come-on, they are getting dominated and playing no better than a MAC or SBC-team. A well-coached ND-team still wouldn't be good due to the inexperience but they would be respectable.

I stopped comparing Meyer to Weis because it sjust not fair to do so.....I did read this today though....

I think its very relevant to your THEORY:

"Florida wasn't supposed to be this good this fast. The Gators have only 10 seniors and 11 juniors. They've played 27 freshmen in their first three games. More than 70 percent of Florida's roster is composed of freshmen and sophomores.

Hmmmmm.......basically TWO recruiting classes.....keep spinning spider......

I'm sorry, where didn't I write that he has to take responsibility? He's not the only one coaching asshole. There are others. The blame does fall on him, however there is plenty to go around for why this team sucks. I'm an ND fan, and you're arguing with me. Way to go. They're not MY team. I root for them. I hold no ownership within the university. Now, does ND suck? Yep, but we've already gone over that one. Weis is the coach. Fantastic..... you're getting better. Keep up the good work. ND will win maybe 4-5 games this year and this may also be the year that Navy ends their streak. Why do you ask Rixie....because ND sucks right now.
